The number is HSBC who services a lot of credit cards companies as well as best buy. Even if you keep all your card payments current it will not matter. If you close your card account it will not matter. They say that if you have ever done business with the the companies they service that it states in those lovely contracts that we agree to giving HSBC the right to solicit via the number we provided in the contract.
