i get them from time to time. I think they speak with Creole accent (French) most of the time you can barely understand them if they speak English. I think the calls originate in Haiti. They use some sort of prospecting system and whomever answers first gets to talk to them and the rest of us get hangups. I did call the number back and I was asked to press 1 for English or 2 for French and when i pressed the English one I was told in English to pick the person I was name of the person I was trying to reach by name from a directory or that an agent would be talking to me shortly. Fort Bragg, NC had a terrorist bomb scare a month or so ago and they evacuated a few building because someone misunderstood what the caller was saying. I understand they got several calls and it turned out to be some sort of marketing campaign in Creole French from Haiti. How they got the local numbers programed in their system is a mystery.
