I didn't get a phone call but he put in the email he sent to me.  that number is from the state of Washington, Im in California...  What I suggest is to read the 'AVOID SCAMS' on craigslist    http://www.craigslist.org/about/scams   it a great way to understand the kind of scams that are out there, and always go with your gut feel... It's not worth the sale if it only a scam....  if the Item is small enough to meet the person in a public place it would be better... but if not meet them first in a public place scope them out and always have other people with you and if possible let you neighbors know you are expecting some stranger to pick-up an item from your home ..
